ShipHero
Now WMS software only — fulfillment business spun off as LVK Logistics in August 2024.
ShipHero is a SaaS warehouse management system founded in 2013 by Aaron Rubin (still CEO). In August 2024 the company spun off its fulfillment arm into LVK Logistics, an independent apparel-focused 3PL led by former ShipHero COO Maggie Barnett. ShipHero today is a software-only company offering two products — Brand WMS for self-fulfilling brands and 3PL WMS for fulfillment operators — with mobile-first iOS picking, an automation rules engine consistently ranked among the top features on G2/Capterra, and Shopify-native depth. Merchants looking for outsourced 3PL fulfillment should evaluate LVK directly, or alternatives like ShipBob, ShipNetwork, and Red Stag.

2ShipHero is the odd one out here, on purpose. As of August 2024 it spun off its outsourced fulfillment arm as LVK Logistics, and shiphero.com is now the warehouse-management software product. So it isn't a drop-in replacement for Red Stag's done-for-you service. It's the alternative for brands whose real conclusion is that maybe they should run this themselves. If you have your own space and staff, ShipHero's WMS gives you the pick-accuracy tooling and multi-channel order management to run a tight operation in-house, and the same software also powers third-party 3PLs, including LVK, its former fulfillment business. It's the wrong answer if you want to outsource, and the right one if the honest takeaway from shopping 3PLs is that you'd rather own the operation.
Seven fulfillment nodes across Nevada, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Utah, paired with ShipHero's own warehouse management system used by third-party operators.
